Impact study on technological adoption pattern in ginger cultivation: A study on diffusion of Scientific Practices in Anjaw District .

Result: The study explores the socio-economic profile of the ginger growers, their adoption behaviour and the factors that influence with the adoption of scientific cultivation of ginger in Anjaw district. Study result revealed that there is significant differences in the adoption score across five dimensions. The dimension ‘Scientific Cultivation Practices’ were widely adopted with higher density at higher scores. ‘Manure and Biofertilizer Application’ and ‘Plant Protection Measure’ have lower adoption scores with less variation and the dimensions ‘Post-Harvest Management’ and Risk Management Related to Planting Materials’ show moderate adoption with some variation. The Games-Howell test confirms that these differences are statistically significant.
