For current age farmers always invloves in looking the different ways to improve yields and combat problems caused by rough weather, pest attacks, disease infestation and unawareness about the latest scientific agro practices. Due to an information gap (digital divide) in north eastern region particularly in Arunachal Pradesh, agriculture has become input intensive but not knowledge intensive which makes agriculture non profitable. So, with a purpose to serve the farming community and reach to unreahced farmers, we have come up with this innovative idea and developed the mobile application named smart NE Kisan under “Cybernatic Aminity Solution Centre” project funded under Tribal Sub Plan during 2016-17 with this objective to avoid the hinderance of connectivity, KVK Anjaw offered the essential services like provided the latest scientific agricultural Technologies, breeds, variety, approaches etc., through touch Screen Kiosk services. Developed Smart NE Kisan offline and on line android based mobile applicaitons with the objective to reaching out the tribal farmers with the help of mobile and provide all the agriculture and allied based activities in very interesting and attractive way boost the innovative way of learning among the farmers. KVK also developed some vedio according to thrust area and trying hard to promote e- learning practices among the rural youth in todays prespecctive of ICT era.
